The bucket teeth can be divided into primarily 3 big types which include: standard teeth, reinforced teeth and rocky teeth.
Standard teeth are suitable for general earthworks and are usually installed on new equipment attachments. These bits are used in working on light earthen rocks, where there is no strong abrasion. The main advantage of standard crowns is their low cost, however, their short service life, high residual weight and poor penetration into the ground due to the design should be taken into account.

However, on rocky soils, rock teeth last twice as long as standard ones. Its advantages include low residual weight and easy penetration into the ground. However, its disadvantage is the cost of rock crowns is higher than standard and reinforced ones.

Their quality is ok but their composition does not contain molybdenum, a substance that ensures the strength of metal at low temperature. These teeth work OK in the warm season, while they are not designed to work in harsh cold winter seasons or areas.
For higher quality bucket teeth, they are so called " business class", which we normally used and most higher grade bucket factories used them as well. Molybdenum is added to the composition of the metal of teeth to improve its strength. But due to the use of an additional component, their cost becomes higher than those "economy class". These brands like TURBO, Zhedong, HPAD and YCT are about the same in terms of quality. These brands will last longer than those "economy class" due to higher strength characteristics, including at low temperatures.
If your equipment is working in harsh conditions and you don’t want to be annoying by replacing teeth frequently then probably you need to go for a “premium class”. NBLF is the largest manufacturer of this in China. NBLF has been cooperating with well-known brands such as Hitachi, Komatsu, Hensley, BYG, Italricambi, GETT and other world brands. The reason is that NBLF teeth have a more uniform hardness distribution. Important Notes:
Be careful and don’t easily believe what they say “patented systems MTG, Hensley, ESCO and 2-3 times cheaper” or “ bucket teeth without a logo on it but offering attractive prices”, as those suppliers normally got the worst quality.
It must be understood that a factory that produces quality products will never manufacture fakes. On the contrary, those manufacturers who have not established themselves in the market are trying to fill their production facilities with low-quality products.
